The Gospel Train is coming to Gloversville!

Tom Lindsay and Michael Eck will present their exciting program of Historic American Spiritual Music at St. James Lutheran Church in Gloversville on Sunday, January 18, 2009. The performance -- which is open to the public -- is part of the "Third Sunday at Three" concert series.

This is The Gospel Train's first visit to Gloversville, and the duo will offer two sets of music, which will be recorded for possible future release.

In 2008, The Gospel Train released its debut album, "Museum Piece: Live at the New York State Museum," and also entered into an endorsement program with The Loar brand instruments. In 2009, Lindsay and Eck will also be launching two new programs, "Lincoln and Liberty" and "Wildwood Flower: Songs of the Original Carter Family."
