| | 'Magnifica' indeedMarch 1, 2008 - Bill AckerbauerOn Fridays, I am usually one of the folks who work in the evening to produce your Saturday morning edition of the Leader. That leaves me free in the daytime on Fridays to take care of my younger son. Today I took him to check out "Botanica Magnifica," an exhibit of large-print photographs on display at the Perrella Gallery at FMCC. It was our first visit to the gallery, and I was impressed. The photographs by Dr. Jonathan Singer are really something to behold. The exibit will be on display through March 15, so there's plenty of time to catch it. For details about the gallery and the Singer photos, CLICK HERE. The prints on display at FMCC make up just a small portion of Singer's "Botanica Magnifica" collection. Others in the collection are viewable HERE. My son, who's 3 years old, got comfortable on one of the gallery benches after he'd had a look at the vivid, larger-than-life flower images:
