Not marking the no passing zones is dangerous

Recently I drove from the Rockwood area to Johnstown on Route 29. A paving project was in progress for about two to three miles. Temporary marking on the new blacktop consisted of a white line on each outside edge of the road and dashed yellow lines in the middle of the highway. This dashed yellow line was in both passing and no passing sections of the highway.

I consider this highly dangerous and someday I fear a terrible crash.

Why can’t a single solid white line be placed in the middle of the highway until the job is done and permanent lines laid down?
