Celebrate acts of kindness by decent people around us

On Friday, while shopping at our local Walmart, I was unaware that my wallet had fallen out of my purse. I heard my name being paged and thought it was my visiting grandchildren who were letting me know they were done shopping. In fact, a lovely man whose name I forgot to ask had brought it, with everything intact, to a manager.

In an age of atrocities, let us please remember to celebrate these acts of kindness and decency. Wonderful people are still alive and well, and I am grateful to the wonderful man whose kindness and decency made such a difference to me.
