GOP picnic a big success
Sixth annual Republi“cans” and clams a big success
On Aug. 26, the Fulton County Republican Club held its annual picnic. A rousing time was had by over 100 local attendees. What a showing — Fulton County Republican strong. Elected officials in attendance were State Sen. James Tedisco, Assemblyman Marc Butler, Fulton County Sheriff Richard Giardino, Terry Blodgett, treasurer, and Fulton County Supervisors Jack Wilson, John Blackmon and Charles Potter. City of Johnstown Mayor Vern Jackson, Alderman-at-Large Craig Talarico, Councilwoman Kathy Ianotti attended as did Johnstown Town Councilman Walt Lane.
This event was led by Republican Club President Maggie Luck. Her team has done an excellent job of organizing, promoting and executing this event year after year. Several dozen other candidates were present as well. Thank you goes to include the Pleasant Square Fire Department and the many volunteers who worked effortlessly to make the event a success. Several Republicans from other counties also visited to be part of this special day that featured perfect weather, good attendance and great comradery.
Sharing time with all these strong Fulton County Republican leaders and those who support the platform was memorable fun.
