Spirit of humanity rarely experienced
On the Thursday before Christmas, while leaving the Johnstown Price Chopper parking lot, I fell.
My right knee was so badly sprained, I could not get myself up.
Two young women from separate vehicles ran to help me, one who said she worked in health care. She was able to get me standing, then took my keys and brought my car back to me. The other young woman stayed with me and helped load my packages in the car.
I am embarrassed to say I did not get their names, but these women exhibited a spirit of humanity that is not often heard about these days. I hope you will help me let them know how grateful I am and that I will continue to pass on their kindness.
