Mr. Albert Zoraian, age 89, of Gloversville, died December 1, 2018, at Nathan Littauer Hospital.
He was born November 20, 1929, in Staten Island. Albert was a distinguished and pleasant gentleman. He loved to relax in his recliner with his feet up. He enjoyed watching people around him and so enjoyed when people talked with him. Though Albert did not speak verbally, he was very expressive with his expressions and gestures. He particularly enjoyed feeding and watching the birds and also feeding the squirrels. Albert loved to sit out in his gazebo, relaxing and enjoying the nature around him.
Albert was of the Jewish faith.
Albert moved to Lexington in 2002, moving to Cromer Road and attended Oppenheim Day Program. Albert moved to Mountain View II IRA in 2005, he has been with the Mountain View family ever since and attended Gloversville Day Hab. In 2008 his program moved to Kaleidoscope Day Hab. Janet Kusel was also a big part of Albert’s life.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. December 6, 2018, at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, where a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Suzanne Schermerhorn officiating.
Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m. following services at the funeral home Thursday at Bethlehem Cemetery, 286 Kenwood Avenue, Delmar, NY
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Lexington Center.
