Marjorie Mary Lewandowski
Marjorie Mary Lewandowski, age 53, of Gloversville, passed away on December 27, at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady after a long illness. She was born in Gloversville on March 5, 1964, daughter of the late Frederick James Person Jr. and the late Elizabeth Ann Fisher Person.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Joseph Lewandowski; one daughter, Priscilla Elizabeth Lewandowski; and one son, Patrick James Lewandowski; brother, Frederick James Person III of Troy (Randy); brother, James Charles Person Sr. (Priscilla) of Gloversville; aunt, uncle, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Marjorie was a graduate of Gloversville High School in 1982. She was employed at Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home, and a Christian school teacher at Buckler Christian Academy, Victory Christian Academy and Faith Christian Academy. She was a devoted member of Saving Grace Baptist Church in Fonda, New York where she was very involved in all the youth programs.
Her fondest times were spent cooking meals for her beloved church family and working with the children at the church. She also loved spending time with her family and good friends and making any event a special one. She will be missed by many.
A memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Prime at Saving Grace Baptist Church, 2615 St. Hwy. 30A, Fonda, New York on Sunday, January 7, at 12:30 p.m.
