Mary F. Mora
Mary F. Mora, 94, of Broadalbin, died Sunday, January 8, 2017, at St. Mary’s Healthcare, Amsterdam.
She was born in Richmond, VA on November 2, 1922, a daughter of Wajcieski and Mary Koval Broda and was educated there. Mary moved to Long Island and lived there until 1977 when she moved to Broadalbin.
Mrs. Mora was a former member of the Perth Senior Citizens and the Broadalbin Senior Citizens. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and feeding and watching the birds. Mary enjoyed spending time at Sacandaga Lake with her family and friends.
She was married to Benjamin J. Mora on July 8, 1950. He died on January 2, 1977. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Ann Williams; and her two sons-in-law, Steven Brooks and Scott Williams.
Survivors include her daughter, Bernardine Brooks of Broadalbin; two grandchildren, Paul (Theresa) Brockmann and Allison (Aric) Coppola; and five great-granddaughters, Victoria, Lillien, Eleanore, Olivia, and Gwedolyn Brockmann.
Burial will be in the Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date.
