Robert J. Morley
Robert J. Morley, age 56, of Canajoharie, entered the house of the Lord on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady where he was surrounded by his loving children, Brandon Morley, Robert Morley, Alicia Morley and Katy Morley. Also by his side was his previous wife and close friend, Stacey Dillenbeck; mother-in-law, Patricia Fleszar and Tabitha Sanchez.
He was born on October 16, 1959, in Gloversville, a son of the late Ezra and Vivian Booth Morley.
Robert was a class of 1975 graduate of Mayfield High School. He was employed for several years as a mason and landscaper for the city of Lakeland, Florida. Bob was a man who was loved by many people. His personality always kept the people around him smiling.
He is survived by his two sons, Robert J. Morley II and his companion Tabitha Sanchez of town of Florida and Brandon Morley of Amsterdam; two daughters, Alicia Morley and her companion Felix Cruzado of Amsterdam and Katricia Morley of Canajoharie; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Emannuel, Connor and Adrianna Cruzado, Xiomara Morley and Sophia and Jordan Jr. Shutter; three brothers, Brian Morley, Richard Morley and Joseph Lewandowski, all of Gloversville; three sisters, Karen Morley and Linda Morley, both of Gloversville and Brenda Karnath of Davenport, Florida; brother-in-law, James Tessitore; close friend, Tanisha Ortiz; niece, Jennifer Yancha; and several other nieces and nephews; and one great-niece; and two great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Morley was predeceased by his daughter, Amanda Kristine Fleszar; sister, Beverly Morley; and father-in-law, Frank Tessitore.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, May 16, 2016, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
