Thelma F. Wildermuth
Thelma F. Wildermuth, age 92, of Earlton, formerly of Northville, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn, Albany.
Born on August 18, 1923, in Gloversville, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Hall and Mary Whitman Warner.
Thelma was a graduate of Mayfield High School and also graduated from Practical Bible Training, Johnson City in 1947. She was employed for several years at Crescendoe Gloves and was last employed at the Fulton County Infirmary. Mrs. Wildermuth was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Northville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Sueann Albright and her husband Harry of Earlton and their children Steven Howard and his wife Jennifer and their son William of Surprise, NY, Robert Howard and Jonathan Howard of Earlton, Audra Albright Misuraca and her husband Robert and their children Danielle, Meghan and Robert Misuraca of Climax, New York and Heidi Albright and Brent Albright of Orlando, Florida; daughter, Marie Berry of Gloversville and her children Jaime Vassi and her husband Ben and their children Brandon and Justin Carlo of Fort Johnson and Laurie Laport and her husband Jason and their children Shane and Ryan Laport of Tribes Hill. She is also survived by one stepdaughter, Carol and her husband Kenneth Shippee of Clifton Park and their four daughters, three sons-in-law, six grandchildren (three girls, three boys), and five great-grandsons; and one stepson, Gerald Wildermuth and his wife Bonita, and their three daughters and two sons, three sons-in-law, and two daughters-in-law, 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert J. Berry, whom she married on July 7, 1951, and he passed on August 20, 1988; second husband, Hurlbut Lee “Herb” Wildermuth, whom she married on January 1, 1992, and he passed on January 31, 2013; twin sons; one grandson, David Macklin; one sister, June Zimmerman; one brother, Harland Warner; and three nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2015, at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown, with Pastor Richard Klueg and Pastor Eric Walton officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Johnstown Cemetery.
