Alan Dean Hadley
Alan Dean Hadley, 54, resident of Lexington Center, Gloversville, passed away Friday, November 21, at Nathan Littauer Hospital.
He was born in Swindon, England on October 8, 1961, and was the son of the late Herbert and Molly Rowley Hadley.
Alan will always be remembered for his gentle ways and broad smile. He was loved by all who knew him. He was affectionately known as the “Mayor of Lexington.” He lived a simple life enjoying outings and country music and quality time with his family.
He is survived by two sisters, Linda (Tony) Vidulich of Amsterdam and Jane (Glenn) Phillips of Cropseyville, NY; four brothers, Steven (Britta) Hadley of Florida, Robert Hadley of Galway, Mark Hadley of Broadalbin and Bruce (Beth) Hadley of Broadalbin; also several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his loving family at Lexington Center.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, November 25, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at De Stefano Funeral Home, Route 5-S, Amsterdam with a funeral service to follow with the Rev. John Califano officiating. Interment will be in Galway Cemetery at a later date.
