∫ Tyler Schrader of Johnstown — Nature’s Prospect: The Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, 2736 Route 30, Gloversville. This solo show features sculptures of wood and steel from the artist’s collection of works. Entry fee is $5 to see the show which runs through June 26; and free for members of the art center. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

∫ Sacandaga Valley Arts Network Artists’ Gallery Exhibit: Fulton County Visitor Center, Routes 29 and 30, Vail Mills. Free and open to the public. Gallery is open weekends.

∫ Kathy Klompas — guest artist: Micropolis Cooperative Art Gallery, 30 N. Main St., Gloversville. Micropolis member artists work on display will include paintings, drawings, photographs, fiber art, batik, mixed media, woodwork, glass, digital art, sculpture, jewelry and pottery. The gallery, inside Mohawk Harvest, is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The show will run through June. Pawling St. in Hagaman, 5 to 7:30 p.m. The event includes hot dog with all the fixings, cake, ice cream, strawberries, whip cream and beverage. Donation is $5 for adults; $3 for children ages 5-12; and free for children under age 5; an addition hot dog, $2.

∫ Bill Ackerbauer: Mayfield Historical Society’s Strawberry Festival: Riceville Homestead, 328 Riceville Road, Mayfield, noon to 4 p.m. The festival marks the opening of the Rice Homestead for the season; strawberry shortcake, ice cream and beverage will be served; weaving demonstrations by Eileen Wrightsman; free tours of the home; and Ackerbauer will be playing music from 1 to 3 p.m. Donations: $4 for adults; $2 for children under age 8. In case of rain, the event will take place at Mayfield Presbyterian Church.

∫ The Southern Adirondack Wine and Food Festival music schedule: In front of the barber shop — Ellen Keehan, 3 to 5 p.m. and The Insolent Willies, 5 to 7 p.m.; under Glove Performing Arts Center marquee — Our Secret Love Society, 3 to 5 p.m. and Matthew Bosworth, 5 to 7 p.m.

Tickets for the festival can be purchased for $20 presale or $25 day of. The cost for an alcohol-free ticket is $10. Children younger than 10 are free.
