Man facing several charges in Ballston

BALLSTON — Thomas J. Green, 30, of Broadalbin was charged by state police on Monday with third-degree fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Police said shortly before 2:30 p.m., troopers attempted to stop Green on Middleline Road for a traffic infraction, but he allegedly refused to stop and fled from police.

Police pursued the vehicle for a short distance before Green complied and pulled over.

Police said Green was operating the vehicle with multiple suspensions on his license. The vehicle was also unregistered, uninspected and uninsured.

A subsequent search of the vehicle reveal Green was allegedly in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Green was arraigned in Ballston Spa Village Court and remanded to Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond.

Syracuse man charged unlicensed operation

JOHNSTOWN — Charles D. Edwards Jr., 57, of 322 E. Florence Ave., Syracuse, was charged by city police at 2:25 p.m. March 7 with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; and failure to keep right, a violation.

Police said he was charged on Briggs Street while on a vehicle stop.

Edwards will appear later in City Court.

Vehicle stop leads to registration charge

JOHNSTOWN — Robert S. Pacheo, 27, of 24 Rosewood Ave., was charged by city police at 3:01 p.m. March 7 with one misdemeanor count of suspended registration.

Police said he was charged on Briggs Street while on a vehicle stop.

He will appear later in City Court.

Woman arrested for possession, warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Leann B. Trumbull, 39, of 73 E. Main St., St. Johnsville, was charged by city police at 8:36 a.m. March 7 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and arrested on a bench warrant, a violation.

Police said Trumbull was charged on West Main Street. She had an active warrant out of the St. Johnsville Police Department. Police said she was found in possession of two suboxone pills, and five lorazepam pills while being a passenger in a vehicle.

Trumbull was issued an appearance ticket for Johnstown City Court, and also turned over to the St. Johnsville Police Department.

Passenger charged with possession

JOHNSTOWN — Joshua A. Hickey, 26, of 253 Fox Road, St. Johnsville, was charged by city police at 8:36 a.m. March 7 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Police said he was charged on West Main Street, as the passenger in a vehicle that was stopped. Police said Hickey was found in possession of crack cocaine.

He will appear later in City Court.
