Sleezer

Complaint leads to disorderly charges

GLOVERSVILLE — Ty S. Vannostrand, 21, of 118 N. Main St., was charged with disorderly conduct by city police on Jan. 1 at 4:32 a.m.

Officers said they responded to 118 N. Main St. for a disorderly conduct complaint. While investigating that incident, officers could hear a male’s voice yelling from an apartment causing other tenants to come outside into the hallway.

Police then observed a male later identified as Vannostrand inside that apartment fighting with a roommate.

Vannostrand was taken into custody and transported to the station where he was processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable in City Court at a later date.

Driver charged with drug possession

GLOVERSVILLE — Devyn S. Sleezer, 17, of 77 E. Fulton St., was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance by city police on Jan. 1 at 2 a.m.

Officers said they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Sleezer on Oakland Avenue for an infraction. During the traffic stop, Sleezer was found to be in possession of numerous Suboxone sublingual films that he did not have a prescription for.

Sleezer was taken into custody, transported to the station, processed and held for arraignment.

Woman charged with having drugs

Gordon

GLOVERSVILLE — Amberlin L. Chase, 25, of 53 Division St., was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance by city police on Friday at 8 p.m.

Officers said they conducted a vehicle stop for a traffic infraction on North Main Street. During the course of investigation, Chase was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.

Chase was taken into custody, transported to the station, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable in City Court at a later date.

Woman charged with shoplifting

GLOVERSVILLE — Jamie M. Gordon, 29, of 60 Homestead Drive, was charged with petit larceny by city police on Sunday at 7:45 a.m.

Officers said Gordon was taken into custody following a larceny investigation at the Walmart located at 329 S. Kingsboro Ave. During the course of investigation it was determined that Gordon took store merchandise past all points of sale without paying on Jan. 5 at 1:20 p.m.

Gordon was processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable in City Court at a later date.
