Police: Woman gave a false name

JOHNSTOWN –Jamie L. Esposito, 36, of 79 Broad St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 10:16 p.m. on Monday with second-degree criminal impersonation.

Police said she was arrested on South Perry Street after giving a false name to hide that she had a valid bench warrant out of Gloversville City Court.

Esposito was issued an appearance ticket for City Court, and later arraigned in Gloversville City Court on the warrant.

Police: Man cut brake lines on vehicle

JOHNSTOWN — Matthew S. Luzinas, 35, of 4223 1/2 Route 30, Amsterdam, was charged by city police at 10:23 a.m. Sunday with one misdemeanor count of fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Police said he was arrested for an offense at 7:04 a.m. Aug. 19 for allegedly cutting the brake lines on a victim’s vehicle.

Luzinas will appear later in City Court.

Woman charged with unlicensed operation

JOHNSTOWN — Alison M. Marone, 30, of 19 Yost St., was charged by city police at 9:39 p.m. Aug. 19 with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor.

Police said she was charged on North Perry Street after a vehicle stop.

She will appear later in City Court.

Police: Man caused public disturbance

JOHNSTOWN –James J. Hammond Jr., 16, of 202 Fon Clair St., was charged by city police at 11:49 p.m. Aug. 18 with disorderly conduct, a violation; and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.

Police said he was charged on North Perry Street for allegedly causing a disturbance in public after being asked to leave the area and continuing. Officers advised Hammond he was under arrest, and he resisted before being taken into custody.

He will appear later in City Court.

Officers: Man had .06 grams of cocaine

JOHNSTOWN — Brandon M. Schlegel, 20, of 318 Houseman St., Northville, was charged by city police at 1:40 a.m. Aug. 19 with one felony count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police said he was charged on South Perry Street after officers checked on a suspicious vehicle. During an investigation, police said they allegedly found .06 grams of cocaine in the vehicle.

Schlegel will appear later in City Court.

Woman charged after traffic stop

JOHNSTOWN — Emily C. Brindle, 22, of 61 W. Fulton St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 11:50 a.m. Aug. 15 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor.

Police said she was charged on Townsend Avenue after a vehicle stop.

She will appear later in City Court.
