Couple charged with grand larceny
GLOVERSVILLE — A city couple is facing charges after state police said they allegedly used a debit card that did not belong to them.
Troopers said Martin Palmer, 57, and Darlene Palmer, 46, were charged with third-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
State police in Mayfield said the charges stem from the pair allegedly stealing a debit card and making over $3,000 in purchases without the permission of the card owner. Several purchases were allegedly made at Wal-Mart and other businesses in the city of Gloversville.
Both were arraigned in the City Court and remanded to the Fulton County Correctional Facility to reappear in city court at a later time.
