Driver charged with marijuana possession

NORTHAMPTON — Michael S. Zorrilla, 34, of Brooklyn, was charged by state police on Aug. 17 with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Driver charged with felony unlicensed

MAYFIELD — Risa A. Mullinnex, 51, of Wells was charged by state police on Wednesday with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher and following too closely.

Felony filing a false statement charged

FONDA — Kirsten Lemire, 36, of Amsterdam was charged by state police on Aug. 23 with first-degree offering a false statement, a Class E felony, for an incident which occurred on Aug. 20.

Speeding leads to DWI charges

AMSTERDAM — Anthony Persaud, 22, of Schenectady, was charged on Saturday with driving while intoxicated, having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher and speeding in a posted zone.

Ft. Plain man facing harassment charge

SHARON – Vernon K. Kennedy, 23, Of Fort Plain was charged by state police on Friday with second-degree harassment for having alleged physical contact with a victim. He was arraigned and released in his own recognizance.

Teen flees police, facing charges

MOHAWK – An unidentified 18-year-old from Fort Plain was charged by state police on Saturday with third-degree fleeing a police officer. The teen was held for arraignment.

Unsafe turn leads to drunk driving charge

MAYFIELD – James L. Beavis, 39, of Broadalbin, was charged by state police on Saturday with driving while intoxicated, having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher, aggravated driving while intoxicated and unsafe turn.
