Driver charged for unlicensed operation

JOHNSTOWN — Steven M. McComsey, 39, of 2579 Route 8, Bakers Mills, was charged by city police at 12:45 p.m. Aug. 10 with misdemeanor counts of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and suspended registration.

Police said he was charged after a vehicle stop on North Perry Street.

He will appear later in City Court.

Vehicle stop leads to misdemeanor

JOHNSTOWN — Jessica A. Wollard, 35, of 519 1/2 N. Market St., was charged by city police at 1:54 p.m. Aug. 11 with suspended registration, a misdemeanor.

Police said she was charged on Pearl Street after a vehicle stop.

She will appear later in City Court.

Driver charged for multiple violations

JOHNSTOWN — Crystal D. Harris, 34, of 200 Virginia Lane, Amsterdam, was charged by city police at 1:08 a.m. Aug. 11 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; and inadequate exhaust, a violation.

Police said Harris was charged on East Main Street after a vehicle stop.

She will appear later in City Court.

Local man arrested on active warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Anthony C. Ashbey, 23, of 524 County Highway 123, Mayfield, was arrested by city police at 8:37 p.m. Aug. 11 on a warrant.

Police said he was arrested on a valid bench warrant out of City Court.

He will appear later on the violation in City Court.

Parking violation leads to charges

JOHNSTOWN — Jayde M. Jasewicz, 42, of 35 Helwig St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 6:09 p.m. Aug. 9 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a violation.

Police said she was charge on South Market Street. Police said an officer observed a parking violation involving an occupied vehicle, and it was determined Jasewicz had a suspended license.

She will appear later in City Court.

Active bench warrant leads to woman’s arrest

JOHNSTOWN — Martha G. Curtis, 59, of 5 Prospect Ave., Gloversville, was arrested by city police at 8:04 p.m. Aug. 10 on a warrant.

Police said she was arrested on an active bench warrant out of City Court.

She will appear later in City Court.

Traffic accident leads to multiple charges

FULTONVILLE — Andrew Sharpe, 36, of 352 Fisher Road was charged on Aug. 9 by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies with unsafe tires, uninspected motor vehicle and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Sharpe was charged following a motor vehicle accident when it was discovered he was driving with his license suspended.
