Hickok

Man ticketed for supplying alcohol

GLOVERSVILLE — Edward E. Hickok, 26, of 134 E. Fulton St., Apt. 2, was charged with two counts of second-degree unlawful dealing with a child by city police on Sunday at 9:30 p.m.

Hickok was taken into custody following a suspicious activity complaint at the Fulton Street Laundromat. During the investigation, it was found that Hickok had allegedly supplied minors with alcoholic beverages.

Hickok was issued an appearance ticket returnable in City Court at a later date.

Man charged with criminal possession

GLOVERSVILLE — John M. Lewis, 27, of 164 Kingsboro Ave., was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana by city police on Sunday at 4:17 a.m.

Lewis was taken into custody following a field interview that was conducted by city police on Bleecker Street near Spring Street. During the interview, Lewis was observed trying to discard an amount of crack cocaine, powdered cocaine and marijuana.

Lewis was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the Fulton County Correctional Facility.

Harassment complaint leads to man’s arrest

PALATINE BRIDGE — Brandon D. Beaird, 45, of 93 E Grand St., was charged on Friday by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for second-degree harassment, third-degree menacing, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.

Beaird was charged following a harassment complaint at the Budget Inn. He was arraigned in Canajoharie Town Court and remanded to the Montgomery County Jail in lieu of bail.

Local man charged with petit larceny

GLOVERSVILLE — Joshua J. Coadney, 41, of 25 Kent St. Apt. 2, was charged with petit larceny by city police on Monday at 8:30 p.m.

Officers responded to the Price Chopper at 358 N. Main St. for a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, police located Coadney who had allegedly left the store without paying for $29.02 worth of merchandise.

Coadney was taken into custody and transported to the station where he was processed and held for arraignment.

Driver picked up on active bench warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Dana C. Horning, 22, of 190 Blanchard Road, was taken into custody by city police on an active bench warrant out of Gloversville on Wednesday at 12:24 p.m.

Horning was stopped by city police and after a license check, officers learned that Horning had an active warrant issued in Gloversville City Court for failure to appear on traffic tickets.

Horning was processed and held for arraignment.

Area woman arrested on active bench warrant

GLOVERSVILLE — Cynthia M. Baxter, 27, of 110 Francis St. Lot 16, was taken into custody by city police on an active bench warrant on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

The bench warrant for Baxter was issued out of City Court for failure to appear. City police were advised by members of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office that Baxter was present in Johnstown Town Court, where she was taken into custody.

Baxter was transported to the station where she was arraigned.
