Police: Man stole a bicycle in the city

JOHNSTOWN — David W. Hassler III, 22, of 211 W. State St., was charged by city police at 11:31 a.m. Monday with petit larceny and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.

Police said Hassler was charged on Water Street in connection with an offense at 5:07 p.m. July 27. Police said he stole a bicycle from a residence.

On Monday, the suspect was seen riding the stolen bicycle by an officer. After contact, Hassler attempted to flee and resisted arrest, police said.

He will appear later in City Court.

Man allegedly broke window with hammer

JOHNSTOWN — Pacey R. Wilson, 17, of 76 Sewell St., Lake George, was charged by city police at 10:49 p.m. on Sunday with misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Police said he was charged stemming from an offense at 11:13 p.m. June 15 at Speedway on Route 30A. Police said Wilson got into an argument with another man, using a hammer to break the rear driver side window of the victim’s vehicle. He then fled the scene, police said.

Wilson will appear later in City Court.

Police: Man wanted on a bench warrant

JOHNSTOWN — William R. Kenyon, 21, of 715 S. Market St., was arrested by city police at 2:13 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant.

Police said he was arrested on a court-ordered bench warrant, a violation, out of City Court.

He will appear later in City Court.

Police: Man charged following traffic stop

JOHNSTOWN — Ashley M. McNally, 25, of 10 Curtis St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 2:38 p.m. Sunday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; and uninspected motor vehicle, a violation.

Police said she was charged on North Perry Street while on a vehicle stop.

McNally will appear later in City Court.

Charges follow a traffic stop in city

JOHNSTOWN — Kevin P. Murray, 26, of 138 N. Main St., Dolgeville, was charged by city police at 3:35 p.m. July 28 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; and insufficient brake light, a violation.

Police said Murray was charged after a vehicle stop on North Perry Street.

He will appear later in City Court.

Two people charged following a fight

JOHNSTOWN — Two people were charged by city police at 9:03 p.m. July 27 with second-degree harassment, violations.

Clara R. Fitzpatrick, 19, of 5 Byard St., was charged at her residence after allegedly being involved in a physical fight with another person.

She will appear later in City Court.

Also charged was Shannon M. Szabo, 24, of 5 Byard St., after allegedly being involved in a physical fight.

She will also appear later in City Court.
