Fireworks lead to disorderly charge

GLOVERSVILLE–Eric S. Sleezer, 37, of 268 S. Main St., was charged with disorderly conduct by city police on July 3 at 10:20 p.m.

While on patrol, officers observed a large amount of smoke and loud, popping noises coming from the area of 268 S. Main St. Officers made contact with Sleezer who told police he had set off fireworks, which caused the smoke and loud noise.

Sleezer was issued an appearance ticket for disorderly conduct, returnable in City Court at a later date.

Traffic stop leads to driving drunk charge

EDINBURG — David W. Butler, 50, of Edinburg, was charged by state police on Saturday with driving while intoxicated. He was stopped on Johnson Road at 5:10 p.m.

Failure to keep right leads to DWI charge

NORTHAMPTON – Malissa A. Barling, 42, of Saratoga Springs was charged on Saturday at 9:29 p.m. by state police with failure to keep right and driving while intoxicated. She was stopped on Bridge Street.

Speeding results in DWI, other charges

NORTHAMPTON – Rose M. Spraker, 40, of Northville was charged by state police on Sunday with speeding in a posted zone, driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. Spraker was stopped on Route 30.

Driver facing DWI, other charges

EDINBURG — Dennis J. Mason, 41, of Hadley was charged by state police on Sunday with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher. Mason was stopped at 7:12 p.m. on North Shore Road.

MOHAWK — Dante O. Galster, 20, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana. He was stopped on Mohawk Drive at 11 a.m.

Woman charged with shoplifting

AMSTERDAM — Kristin M. Fritsch, 35, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Thursday with petit larceny. She was charged at 100 Amsterdam Commons at 3:40 p.m.

Driver refuses to submit to breath test

AMSTERDAM — Craig R. Benton, 43, of Phoenix, Arizona, was charged on Thursday by state police with driving while ability impaired by drugs and or alcohol, refusal to take a breathalyzer, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana and tinted windshield. Benton was charged at 5:33 p.m. on Route 5.

Unsafe lane change results in DWI

BROADALBIN — Darius T. Reyes, 21, of Amsterdam was charged by state police on Thursday with moving from a lane unsafely, imprudent speed, driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher. Reyes was stopped on Lakeview Road at 6:39 a.m.

Speeding leads to marijuana charge

BROADALBIN — Jaclyn A. O’Connor, 29, of Lake Grove, was charged by state police on Thursday with speeding in a posted zone and unlawful possession of marijuana.
