Driver’s BAC nearly three times the limit

GLEN — John K. Cassidy II, 54, of Fonda was charged by Montgomery County sheriff deputies with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated, speeding in a posted zone and uninspected motor vehicle on Monday. Cassidy’s blood-alcohol content was 0.23 percent.

He was processed and released on appearance tickets to return to Glen Town Court on July 12.

Woman presents stolen license

JOHNSTOWN — Alisha M. Hogan, 27, of 3741 Route 29, was charged by city police at 6:25 p.m. June 30 with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, second-degree criminal impersonation, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, all misdemeanors; and arrested on a bench warrant, a violation.

Police said she was arrested at 211 E. Main St. Police said an officer observed Hogan in the driver’s seat of a vehicle and there had been a bench warrant issued by City Court for her. Police said Hogan gave an officer a stolen driver’s license from another female, portraying herself as that person.

Police said Hogan also possessed 22 tramadol pills she had no prescription for.

She was arraigned and will appear later in City Court.

Inadequate exhaust leads to drug charge

JOHNSTOWN — Cody R. Stone, 22, of 108 E. Fulton St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 7:20 p.m. June 29 with unlawful possession of marijuana and inadequate exhaust, both violations.

Police said he was charged on North Perry Street after a vehicle stop.

He will appear later in City Court.

No brake light leads to unlicensed charge

JOHNSTOWN — Dennis J. Smith, 28, of 616 Clinton Road, Canajoharie, was charged by city police at 12:17 a.m. June 24 with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; and inadequate brake light, a violation.

Police said Smith was charged on North Perry Street while on a vehicle stop.

He will appear later in City Court.

Vehicle violations results in charges

JOHNSTOWN — Lee D. Horning Jr., 31, of 2390 Route 80, Vanhornsville, was charged by city police at 9:30 p.m. Sunday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; and unregistered motor vehicle and inadequate exhaust, both violations.

Police said the suspect was charged after a vehicle stop on North Comrie Avenue.

He will appear later in City Court.

Driver gets DWI, refuses breath test

CANAJOHARIE – Gilbert M. Voight, 65, of Canajoharie was charged by Montgomery County sheriff deputies with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, refusal to take a breath test, unregistered motor vehicle uninspected motor vehicle, blocking an intersection and improper plates.

Voight was arraigned in Canajoharie Town Court and remanded to montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.

He is scheduled to return to court on Aug. 2.
