Area woman charged on bench warrant

CANAJOHARIE — Stephanie Mickles, 34, of 116 S. Main St., Central Bridge was charged on June 16 by Montgomery Count sheriff’s deputies on a bench warrant for failure to pay.

Mickles was processed and arraigned in the Village Court. She was remanded to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Correctional Facility in lue of $125 cash bail.

Active warrant leads to arrest

JOHNSTOWN — Steven J. Wilder, 32, of 384 Nine Mile Tree Road, Mayfield, was arrested by city police at 12:55 a.m. Friday on a warrant.

Police said he was arrested on an active bench warrant issued by City Court.

He was held to appear later in City Court.

Local man cited for unlicensed operation

JOHNSTOWN — James T. Wilson, 23, of 28 Thompson Ave., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 10:46 p.m. June 23 with misdemeanor counts of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and suspended registration.

Police said Wilson was charged on North Perry Street following a vehicle stop.

He will appear later in City Court.

Woman picked up on active warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Amanda J. Ahnert, 33, of 73 Homestead Drive, Gloversville, was arrested by city police at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant.

Police said she was arrested on an active bench warrant, a violation, out of City Court.

She was arraigned and will appear later in that court.

Unlawful possession of marijuana arrest

AMSTERDAM — Genesis S. Pinales, 26, of New York City, was charged by state police on Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Two charged with marijuana possession

WELLS — Quinlan W. Greagan, 19, of Niskayun and Sara B. Whipple, 20, of Ballston Spa, were charged by state police on Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Driver arrested for DWI, other infractions

BROADALBIN — Michael J. Kelly, 25, of Amsterdam was charged by state police on Saturday with license plate violation, moving from a lane unsafely, driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

Man charged with assault, mischief

GLEN — Gerald E. Sampson, 35, of Glen, was charged with third-degree assault, criminal mischief with intent to cause damage and endangering the welfare of a child.

Local woman cited for possession

BROADALBIN – Celeste N. Fay, 33, of Boylston, Massachusetts, was charged by state police on Saturday with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
