Two charged with having 4 lbs. cocaine
GLEN — On Monday at approximately 8:15 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-90, in the town of Glen for a vehicle and traffic violation. During the interview of the driver, Arlynda D. Ray, 46, of Buffalo, for the vehicle and traffic violation, probable cause to search the vehicle and its occupants was established.
The driver and passenger Kayode K. Yard, 44, of Buffalo, were both found to be in possession of approximately 4.4 pounds of cocaine.
The driver was also found in possession of approximately 1 gram of marihuana.
Ray and Yard were both charged with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A felony; third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony; and Ray was additionally charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Both were arraigned in the town of Glen Court and remanded to the Montgomery County Jail with no bail.
