Man cited during family court matter

JOHNSTOWN — Christopher C. Calhoun, 35, of 34 Highland Terrace, Fort Plain, was charged by city police at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 26 with three counts of second-degree criminal contempt, misdemeanors; and obstruction of governmental administration, a misdemeanor.

Police said he was charged at 11 N. William St., while at a Fulton County Family Court proceeding. He was ordered remanded by court Judge Edward Skoda, but attempted to flee and was taken into custody.

He was arraigned in City Court and held.

Man arrested on active bench warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Patrick J. Hebert, 23, of 123 Hayday Lane, Mayfield, was arrested by city police at 9:12 a.m. Feb. 27 on a warrant.

Police said he was arrested on East Main Street on an active bench warrant issued by City Court.

He was arraigned and released to appear in court later.

City police charge man with having pot

JOHNSTOWN — William Alvarez Jr., 34, of 2 Michael Circle, Apartment 12, Trackside Homes, was charged by city police at 7:37 p.m. Feb. 27 with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Police said he was charged on Glebe Street.

He will appear later in City Court.

Woman arraigned on bench warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Jami L. Lyons, 41, of 8 Second Ave., Gloversville, was arrested by city police at 9:20 a.m. Feb. 27 on a warrant.

Police said she was charged at 4 Daisy Lane on a bench warrant issued by City Court.

She was arraigned and will appear in court later.

Man charged with pot possession

JOHNSTOWN — Robert Krokowski Jr., 41, of 69 E. Main St., was charged by city police at 7:37 p.m. Feb. 27 with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Police said he was charged on Glebe Street.

He will appear later in City Court.

Woman charged on active warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Ashilee M. Herring, 30, of 68B Vosburg St., Clifton Park, was arrested by city police at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant.

Police said she was arrested on an active bench warrant issued by City Court.

She was arraigned and will appear later in court.

Woman accused of shoplifting

AMSTERDAM — Brianna C. Gillis, 25, of 336 N. Perry St., Johnstown was charged on Saturday by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for petit larceny.

Gillis was charged following a larceny complaint at Walmart. She is to appear in town court at a later date.

Accident leads to unlicensed charge

MOHAWK — Frank T. Aiello, 58, of 69 W. Fulton St., Gloversville was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on Friday for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and following too close after being involved in a motor vehicle accident.

He was issued two tickets returnable to town court.
