Driver faces several charges after stop

JOHNSTOWN — Robert P. Warner Jr., 27, of 18 S. Melcher St., was charged by city police at 2:22 p.m. Jan. 17 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor and no inspection.

Police said he was charged on East Main Street following a traffic stop.

He will appear later in City Court.

Driver tries to kick out cop car window

JOHNSTOWN — Gregory C. Blowers, 28, of 104 W. Clinton St., was charged by city police at 10:46 p.m. Feb. 20 with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and fourth-degree criminal mischief, all misdemeanors; and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Police said he was charged on North Perry Street after a traffic stop. In addition to allegedly possessing drugs, police said Blowers also attempted to kick out a police car window while in custody.

He will appear later in City Court.

Woman charged with pot possession

JOHNSTOWN — Latia I. Chandler, 20, of 74 E. Pine St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 11:20 p.m. Feb. 20 with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Police said she was charged on North Perry Street.

She will appear later in City Court.

Failure to keep right leads to citations

JOHNSTOWN –Alyssa A. Rizzo, 31, of 74 E. Pine St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 9:36 p.m. Feb. 21 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; and failure to keep right, a violation.

Police said she was charged on West Main Street following a traffic stop.

Rizzo will appear later in City Court.

Traffic stop results in two charges

JOHNSTOWN — Jayson R. Ackernecht, 44, of 36 Park St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 12:36 a.m. Feb. 22 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; and failure to signal, a violation.

Police said he was charged on South William Street after a traffic stop.

Ackernecht will appear later in City Court.

No inspection leads to marijuana charge

JOHNSTOWN — Kyle T. Hill, 21, of 51 Yale St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 11:03 p.m. Feb. 24 with criminal possession of marijuana and no inspection, both violations.

Police said he was charged on North Comrie Avenue after a traffic stop.

He will appear later in City Court.

Man charged with petit larceny

JOHNSTOWN – Andrew L. Lafoy, 20, of 105 Prospect Ave., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 3:05 p.m. Feb. 25 with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Police said he was arrested on East Main Street on an active warrant issued by City Court for a petit larceny on March 28, 2017.

Lafoy was arraigned and bailed out on $500 bail to appear later in City Court.
