Man keeps rental property, charged

GLOVERSVILLE — Ryan J. Burton, 27, of 6 Curtis St. was charged with misapplication of property by city police on Friday.

Officers said Burton was charged after an investigation into him failing to pay the balance or return the item that he purchased at Rent-A-Center.

Burton was processed and issued an appearance ticket for City Court on Jan. 8.

GLOVERSVILLE — A Johnstown woman is facing a larceny charge after city police said she used another person’s credit card at various locations.

Christine M. Kohout, 40, of 32 S. William St. was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny on Sunday.

Officers said Kohout was taken into custody on an arrest warrant issued by City Court.

Police said the warrant was issued after an investigation into a stolen credit card. The card was subsequently used at multiple ATM locations without the victim’s permission by Kohout.

Kohout was taken into custody and transported to the Gloversville Police Department for processing.

Man charged with criminal mischief

GALWAY – Moises A. Olds, 26, of Schenectady was charged by state police on Dec. 9 with second-degree criminal mischief.

Grand larceny, mischief charged

GLOVERSVILLE — Alfio Coco, 26, of Gloversville, was charged by state police on Wednesday with fourth-degree grand larceny and criminal mischief with intent to do damage.

Driver faces drunk driving charge

ESPERANCE — Ryan A. Doherty, 29, of Esperance, was charged by state police on Thursday with failure to signal, having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher and driving while intoxicated.

Using vehicle without permission charged

GLEN – Neil J. Bennett, 26, of Albany was charged by state police with unauthorized use of a vehicle without owner’s consent.

Driver facing DWI charges

JOHNSTOWN — Alyssa M. Butler, 23, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Saturday with failure to keep right, speeding in a posted zone, having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher and driving while intoxicated.

Driving while intoxicated charged

AMSTERDAM – John C. Waight, 52, of Gloversville, was charged on Saturday with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.
