Traffic stop leads to marijuana charge

GLOVERSVILLE — Joseph A. Rodeo, 30, of 416 N. Market St. in Johnstown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana by city police on Saturday.

Officers said they saw Rodeo operating a motor vehicle south bound on North Main Street and was subsequently stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Police said during further investigation into the traffic stop, officers found Rodeo was in possession of marijuana.

Rodeo was processed on the charge of unlawful possession of marijuana and released on an appearance ticket to return to City Court on a later date.
