Traffic stop leads to marijuana charge

OPPENHEIM — John M. Gallt, 30, of Dolgeville was charged on Oct. 14 with unlawful possession of marijuana by state police.

Man charged with growing cannabis

EPHRATAH — Andrew T. Duesler, 58, of St. Johnsville, was charged by state police on Wednesday with a felony count of criminal possession of marijuana, unlawfully growing marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Driver charged with having loaded gun

BROADALBIN — Herbert W. Poultney, 32, of Mayfield was charged by state police on Wednesday with possession of a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle.

Teen charged with having weapon at JHS

JOHNSTOWN — Michael E. Naple, 18, of 202 N. Market St., was charged by city police at 9:01 a.m. Oct. 12 with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Police said he was arrested at Johnstown High School, 1 Sir Bill Circle, for being in possession of brass knuckles.

He will appear later in City Court.

Driver faces several traffic charges

JOHNSTOWN — Charles J. Dawson, 40, of 115 Fremont St., Gloversville, was charged at 8:08 a.m. Oct. 12 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle, suspended registration, and uninsured motor vehicle.

Police said he was charged on North Comrie Avenue.

Dawson was released in lieu of $200 cash bail, to appear later in City Court.

Several charges lodged against driver

JOHNSTOWN — Shawn B. Seeley, 28, of 80 Spring St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 1:09 a.m. Oct. 8 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle, suspended registration, and uninsured motor vehicle.

The motorist was charged on East Main Street.

He will appear later in City Court.

Driver cited for DWI, traffic charges

JOHNSTOWN — Daniel E. Gleason, 36, of 142 Shady Lane, Fonda, was charged by city police at 2:41 a.m. Oct. 7 with driving while intoxicated, driving with 0.08 percent or greater blood-alcohol content, and unsafe movement of a stopped vehicle.

Police said he was cited on West Madison Avenue.

He will appear later in City Court.

Altercation leads to disorderly charges

JOHNSTOWN — Thomas A. White, 58, of 9 Smith St., was charged by city police at 2:10 p.m. Oct. 12 with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and second-degree harassment.

Police said he was arrested at 7 Smith St. after officers arrived at a fight.

He will appear later in City Court.
