Man charged with grand larceny

JOHNSTOWN — Andrew S. Rutauskas, 31, of 43 Grove St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 28 with third-degree grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, and second-degree criminal impersonation.

Police said he was charged in connection with an incident at 6 a.m. Sept. 6 at Security Plumbing & Heating Supply, 536 N. Perry St.

Police said Rutauskas used a stolen credit card to buy various plumbing supplies.

He was held for arraignment in City Court.

Man arrested on active warrant

JOHNSTOWN — David A. Ellithorpe, 40, of 4 Oak Lane, Gloversville, was arrested by city police at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 28 on a warrant out of City Court.

Police said he was charged at the Fulton County Jail stemming from an offense at 142 N, Comrie Ave., which is NBT Bank.

He was held for arraignment in City Court.

Driver charged with leaving scene

JOHNSTOWN — Rodney S. Young, 27, of 4 W. Decker St., was charged by city police at 8:20 a.m. Oct. 1 with leaving the scene of a property-damage accident and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Police said he was charged on Briggs Street after he left the scene of an accident.

Young was released in lieu of $300 cash bail.

Man arrested on family court warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Brian L. Manzer, 41, of 2326 Route 67, was arrested by city police at 10:47 a.m. Oct. 3 on a warrant.

Police said he was arrested on East State Street on a warrant out of Fulton County Family Court.

Officers said he was turned over to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department for processing.

Failure to signal leads to more charges

JOHNSTOWN — Patrick N. Hughes, 29, of 2571 Batter St., Pattersonville, Schenectady County, was charged by city police at 1:49 a.m. Oct. 1 with failure to signal a turn and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Police said the motorist was charged on South Comrie Avenue.

Hughes was released in lieu of $200 cash bail to appear later in City Court.

Man charged with being unlicensed

JOHNSTOWN — Michael A. Stroud, 63, of 10 Cherry St., was charged by city police at 3:46 p.m. Sept. 30 with unregistered motor vehicle and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Police said the motorist was charged on Parkwood Avenue.

He was released in lieu of $200 cash bail to appear later in City Court.

Man arrested on bench warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Edwin N. Montanez, 21, of 199 Hood Ave., Apartment 4, Syracuse, was arrested by city police at 10:50 p.m. Sept. 25 on a warrant issued by City Court.

Police said he was charged on a bench warrant.

He was sent to the Fulton County Jail, pending further action in City Court.

Man charged with being disorderly

JOHNSTOWN — Shane S. Ward, 23, of 7 Whitmore Ave., was charged by city police at 9:35 p.m. Sept. 29 with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Police said he was charged at City Hall after he became disorderly due to being angry at how police handled a call. He also allegedly resisted, police said.

Ward will appear later in City Court.
