Traffic stop leads to marijuana charges

MOHAWK — Richard J. Morrison, 25, of 40 Lodge St., Apartment 2A, Albany was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies May 14 and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Deputies said Marrison was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped in the town of Mohawk and it was determined he was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana.

He was issued an appearance ticket for town court.

Traffic stop results in two charges

AMSTERDAM — Jesse A. Costanzo, 34, of 589 Burtonsville Road, was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies May 12 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and having an uninspected motor vehicle.

Deputies said Costanzo was arrested following a traffic stop.

He was processed and released to appear in Town Court at a later date.

Two charged after altercation

GLEN – Two people were charged by New York state police Wednesday following an altercation.

Dustin J. Tran, 37, of Hagaman was charged at 4:27 p.m. with third-degree assault with intent to cause physical injury and Nicole B. Arndt, 31, of Hagaman was charged at 4:37 p.m. with second-degree harassment with physical contact.

Both were released on appearance tickets.

Traffic stop leads to several charges

JOHNSTOWN – Daniel L. Degnan, 26, of Gloversville was charged by New York state police on Wednesday at 4 p.m. with unlawful possession of marijuana, sub-standard lights, license plate violation and improper license. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Alleged speeding leads to pot charges

JOHNSTOWN — Two people were ticketed by New York state troopers on Wednesday following a traffic stop at 6:20 p.m. for alleged speeding.

Rachel M. Dotterweich, 20, of Ballston Lake was released on an appearance ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana and Anthony C. Ashby, 22, of Mayfield was charged with speeding in zone and unlawful possession of marijuana.

No headlights leads to drug charge

GLOVERSVILLE — Depree B. Faulks, 25, of Amsterdam was charged Thursday by New York state troopers at 1:45 p.m. with criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh degree, no head lamps and improper license plates. Faulks was stopped on East Fulton Street. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Traffic stop leads to marijuana charge

MAYFIELD — Brandon Spencer, 19, of Northville was charged by New York state troopers on Thursday at 5:42 p.m. with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on County Highway 123.
