Man charged with trespass

JOHNSTOWN — William M. Lyon, 19, of 674 Route 309, Apartment 103, Gloversville, was charged by city police at 5 p.m. Sunday with trespass.

Police said he was charged at 114 N. Perry St. for being on private property, going through unsecure motor vehicles.

He will appear later in City Court.

One-car accident leads to DWI charge

JOHNSTOWN — Amber L. Lauria, 29, of 154 Oakland Ave., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 12:03 a.m. Monday with failure to keep right, improper turn, driving while intoxicated,and driving with 0.08 percent or greater blood-alcohol content.

Police said she was charged on Briggs Street after her vehicle was involved in a one-car property-damage crash.

She will appear later in City Court.

Good-Samaritan act leads to accident

GLOVERSVILLE — Two people were ticketed following a two-vehicle accident according to city police.

Officers said Edward E. Hickok, 25, of Gloversville was driving out of the Stewart’s Shop parking lot on South Main Street because an uninvolved SUV was letting him out, when he was struck by a southbound vehicle driven by Sherleen J. Rodriguez-Hernadndez, 30, of Gloversville.

Hickok was ticketed for failure to yield right of way and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and Rodriguez-Hernandez was ticketed for driving without a valid license.

Man charged with break-in burglary

FORT PLAIN — A Fort Plain man faces multiple charges after he allegedly broke into a shed in the town of Palatine and stole items valued at more than $1,000.

Joshua L. Herringshaw, 19, of 7782 State Highway 5S, has been charged with fourth-degree grand larcency, third-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

He was arraigned in the town of Palatine Court and sent to Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

Charges for failure to return rental car

AMSTERDAM — Thomas J. Deacon, 24, of 105 Mohawk St., Fort Plain, was arrested by Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies May 9 and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Deputies said Deacon was arrested after he rented an Enterprise Rent-a-Car of Amsterdam and failed to return it. Deputies said the car was located and returned and Deacon was found at an address in Gloversville and arrested.

Deacon was arrested on a Montgomery County arrest warrant and sent to Montgomery County jail.

$20K bail for failure to pay child support

GLEN — William T. Dellivenri, 39, was arrested by Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies Sunday and charged with failure to pay child support.

Deputies said Delliveneri was arrested on a Montgomery County Family Court warrant for having not paid child support.

Dellivenri was arraigned in town court and sent to Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $20,000 bail.
