Man charged with

DMV violations

AMSTERDAM — Keith O. Stovall, 22, of 60 Division St., apartment A1, Amsterdam, was arrested by Montgomery County Sheriff’s office deputies and charged with driving a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and failure to notify the department of motor vehicles of an address change.

Deputies said Stovall was processed and released with tickets returnable to Town Court at 6 p.m., April 27.

Suspension leads

to woman’s charge

AMSTERDAM — Ashley N. Flint, 29, of 105 Hartman Road, Pattersonville, was arrested by Montgomery County Sheriff’s office deputies and charged with driving a vehicle with a suspended registration.

Flint was released with an appearance ticket for Town Court, 6 p.m., April 27.

Man picked up

on bench warrants

GLOVERSVILLE — Jonathan L. Morgan, 28, of 13 Pearl St. was taken into custody on two bench warrants by city police on April 11.

Officer said Morgan was wanted on two outstanding bench warrants for failing to complete community service for prior unlawful possession of marijuana and falsely reporting an incident charges.

Officers located Morgan at his address.

He was taken into custody and transported back to the Gloversville Police Department where he was arraigned in City Court before Judge Traci DiMezza and sent to the Fulton County Jail on $1,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.

Man charged with

writing bad checks

GLOVERSVILLE — Vito Amato, 45, of 3901 Lewis Road in Ballston Spa was charged with five counts of issuing a bad check by city police on April 11.

Officers said Amato’s charges stem from five separate incidents where Amato issued a check without sufficient funds to a local business.

Amato was arraigned in City Court by Judge Traci DiMezza and released on pretrial release to appear in Gloversville City Court at a later date.

Canjo man charged

with pot possession

GLOVERSVILLE — Oscar Quintero, 32, of 101 Otsego St. in Canajoharie was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana by city police on April 10.

Officers said Quintero was found to be in possession of marijuana while a passenger of a vehicle involved in an unrelated violation of the vehicle and traffic law.

Quintero was issued an appearance ticket on scene for City Court on a later date.

Bad registration

leads to charge

FLORIDA — Katherine M. Kujan, 28, of Amsterdam, was arrested by Montgomery County Sheriff’s office deputies April 10 and charged with driving with a suspended registration.

Deputies said Kujan was pulled over on Route 30 in the town of Florida after the sheriff’s license plate reader had a positive hit for a suspended registration. Deputies said it was determined Kujan had a suspended registration for an insurance lapse as of Feb. 24.

Kujan was issued traffic tickets returnable to Florida Town Court.
