Second man charged with incest
Was victim in earlier stabbing
BROADALBIN — A Broadalbin man was arrested by New York State Police on Friday and charged with third-degree incest.
Jake Feathers, 42, of Broadalbin was arrested for third-degree incest and possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child. Feathers was arraigned in the town of Perth court and remanded to the Fulton County Jail with a bail of $15,000. He is due in the Broadalbin Court at a later date.
According to the press release, state police received the allegation and an investigation revealed earlier this month while at residence in Broadalbin that Feathers had engaged in sexual conduct with a relative. A sexual performance by a child on an electronic device was also found.
Feathers was also recently involved in a stabbing that occurred on Oct. 6. Feathers was stabbed in the chest by John Mahoney, 69, when an argument escalated between the two.
The stabbing took place at the Broadalbin residence. The two males were having an verbal argument and the argument escalated into a domestic dispute when Feathers struck Mahoney in the face. Mahoney reacted by grabbing a kitchen knife and stabbing Feathers in the chest.
Feathers was treated at the scene and Mahoney was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
