Rowback gets GOP nod
GLOVERSVILLE — William Rowback Jr. remains the winner of the Republican Primary in the city following the counting of absentee ballots.
The Fulton County Board of Elections released the results this morning of the Sept. 12 primary, including absentee ballots that were cast.
Rowback ended up with 524 to incumbent Dayton King’s 472 votes.
Prior to the count of the absentee ballots, Rowback stood at 488 votes and King at 431 votes.
Both men will be on the ballot in November, Rowback on the Republican and Moving Forward lines and King on the Conservative line.
