“Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom,” by Jennifer Haley, is the story of several families caught up in the latest craze — a video game that uses a map of the player’s own neighborhood as the setting for its gruesome action. In a suburban subdivision with identical houses, parents find their teenagers addicted to this online horror video game. The game setting? A subdivision with identical houses. The goal? Smash through an army of zombies to escape the neighborhood for good. But as the line blurs between virtual and reality, both parents and teens realize that fear has a life of its own.
FM’s production will be directed by Jason Radalin, Assistant Professor of Humanities, and features a cast of 15 students and community members.
The play contains profanity and scenes of violence and is meant for a mature audience.
