Fall worship hours begin

MAYFIELD — The Mayfield Central Presbyterian Church, 22 N. Main St., will return to the fall worship start time of 10:30 a.m. beginning on Sunday.

The fall schedule will include the restart of Sunday school classes on Sunday. All area children are invited to join. The second Sunday of each month is “Something Beautiful” Sunday and the worship service will be planned with the children in mind.

Bible studies will resume on Mondays at noon and Tuesdays at 5 p.m. beginning Monday and Sept. 11. The first study this fall will be “Responding to God” by Martha Graybeal Rowlett. Open to all – bring a Bible and own lunch (on Mondays).

On Sept. 23, Juliana Rowe, international Biblical storyteller, will be coming from New York City to be “telling” the Book of Esther. A potluck luncheon will follow worship as attendees remember the Jewish holiday of Purim on which the Book of Esther is based.

The church is handicap accessible, parking is available, and all are welcome. Call the church at (518) 661-6566 for more information.
