Bannertown seniors to meet at the beach
MAYFIELD — The Bannertown 50 Plus Seniors opened their meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Linda LaVada, acting president, read the roll call.
Ann Mallin, sunshine chairman, had sent out one thinking of you card.
Lorrie Valk, secretary, and Joan Bezio, treasurer, gave their reports and were excepted.
It was mentioned that everyone had a good time with the Lassessville group in the joint picnic.
The last picnic of the year will be this coming meeting on Wednesday, at the Mayfield town beach, off of Route 30 north.
Bring a dish to pass, own table setting and drinks. Evie Leach and Janet Betler will be making the desserts. The picnic lunch will be served around noon.
The meeting adjourned and drawings were held. The winners were Valk, $1; Bezio, the 50-50; and Sue Wemple, the door prize. All winnings were donated back to the club.
The birthday card went to Nancy Hayes.
Bingo was played.
