Writing event set at Landis Arboretum
ESPERANCE — The Landis Arboretum will hold the Writing in Harmony with the Natural World event on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.
Instructor Susannah Risley will help participants anchor their writing in the real world, recognizing the relevance and value of the natural world, and our impact on it as well as its impact on us.
Risely is a published author of fiction and poetry. She has taught writing workshops to groups throughout the state and is an encouraging and supportive teacher.
Writers of all experience levels (including no experience) are invited to participate.
Similar presentations are set for June 24, and July 1. Participation in any or all sessions in the series is encouraged. Although you will benefit from attending all five sessions of the workshop series, participants may attend as many or as few as they able to.
There is no charge for the course, but registration is appreciated so that Risley will know how many materials to prepare for each session.
The event will be held in the farmhouse.
