Public library to offer free lunches
GALWAY — The Galway Public Library, 5264 Sacandaga Road, will offer free lunches to children younger than 18 at 1 p.m. each Monday, Thursday and Friday from July 9, to Aug. 24, in partnership with the Captain Youth and Family Services, according to a news release.
The library’s summer reading program includes presentations by Brookside Museum, the Tang Museum, Wilton Wildlife Preserve and Park and the Wildlife Institute of Eastern New York’s Silent Wings raptor program. Registration is required at the library or (518) 882-6385. Adults as well as children are encouraged to enter to track their reading for prizes.
