Car accident leads to unlicensed charge

JOHNSTOWN — Tina L. Shea, 41, of 273 W. Fulton St., Gloversville. was charged by city police at 5:45 a.m. Sunday with one misdemeanor count of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Police said she was charged on East State Street after an investigation of a motor vehicle accident.

Shea will appear later in City Court.

Loud exhaust leads to unlicensed charge

JOHNSTOWN — Nadine L. Blowers, 45, of 178 E. High St., Ballston Spa, was charged by city police at 9:07 p.m. Monday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; and inadequate exhaust, a violation.

Police said she was charged at a traffic stop on West Main Street.

She will appear later in City Court.

Man charged with attempted assault

JOHNSTOWN — Jeremi M. Ferguson, 28, of 6 E. Clinton St., was charged by city police at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with third-degree attempted assault, a misdemeanor.

Police said the defendant was arrested at home after officers investigated a complaint of a domestic incident.

Ferguson will appear later in City Court.

Inmate hides pills while incarcerated

JOHNSTOWN — Michael F. Mackey, 51, of 232 N. Main St., was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies on Tuesday with one misdemeanor count of second-degree promoting prison contraband.

Deputies said he allegedly possessed a quantity of pills hidden on himself while incarcerated at the county jail on Thursday. The pills were not provided to Mackey by the correctional facility, deputies said.

He will appear later in City Court.

Failure to appear results in arrest

GLOVERSVILLE — Kevin M. Sprung, 21, of 27 Sixth St., was taken into custody by city police at 7:48 p.m. Tuesday on a bench warrant.

Police said he was arrested at his home for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Sprung was transported to the station where he was processed and arraigned.

Driver cited for unlicensed driving

AMSTERDAM — Eric C. Schissler, 34, of 58 Sanford Ave., was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation and failure to yield a right-of-way at a stop sign.

During a traffic stop Schissler was found with a revoked New York State driving privilege. He is to appear in town court.

Probation violation leads to $10K bail

FORT PLAIN — Dylan L. Sargeant, 18, of 710 River Road, was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies Thursday for violation of probation.

Sargeant was taken to Montgomery County Court for arraignment. He was remanded to Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail and $10,000 bail bond.
