Village boil water advisory cancelled

MAYFIELD — The boil water advisory for the village on North Main Street from the water tower to Route 30 has been lifted, according to a news release.

Historical society meeting planned

BROADALBIN — The Broadalbin Kennyetto Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church, W. Main St., in Broadalbin.

The society will meet and greet Steve Oare, the new town and village historian. He will share some experiences and attendees will be encouraged to share their comments and get to know Oare.

Refreshments will be served — all are welcome.

Coffee klatch set for next weekend

GALWAY — The Galway Lions will hold a coffee klatch from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 24 at the Galway Lions Clubhouse, 2167 Galway Road. The purpose of this event is to be getting input from community residents about challenges with diabetes and pre-diabetes and ideas for what help from the Lions would help the most.

GLOVERSVILLE –The Gloversville Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will hold their monthly board meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the administration building, 181 West St.

Planning board to hold monthly meeting

FONDA — The Montgomery County Planning Board’s regular meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Montgomery County Business Development Center, 9 Park St.

Neighborhood Watch meeting cancelled

GLOVERSVILLE — There will be no meetings of the Neighborhood Watch at City Hall for February or March. The meetings have been held the second Monday each month.
