Native American history and crafts
AMSTERDAM — An MLK holiday camp to study Mohawk and Iroquois artifacts and Native American inventions and treatment of the environment will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Monday, Jan, 15, at the Walter Elwood Museum of the Mohawk Valley, 100 Church St.
Participants will make beaded necklaces and weave baskets.
The event is free to the public. Registration is required for planning purposes. Donations are welcome.
