Library schedules December activities

AMSTERDAM — The Amsterdam Free Library has scheduled programs through mid-December, as follows:

∫ Preschool story hour: “Bear Stays Up For Christmas” by Karma Wilson at 10:30 a.m. on Monday.

∫ The Tail Waggin’ tutor program at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

∫ MiniMakers preschool learning hour: measurements at 10:30 a.m.; Christmas holiday movie, “The Man Who Saved Christmas,” at 6 p.m.; and the Christmas ornament series: wooden disks at 6:30 p.m., all on Thursday.

∫ Local artist showcase: L. Paul Masto, photographer, at 10:30 on Saturday.

∫ Preschool story hour: “Biscuit’s Christmas Eve” by Alyssa Capucilli, at 10:30 a.m. and Star Wars movie screening and roundtable discussion at 5 p.m., both on Dec. 11.

∫ Tail Waggin’ tutor program at 4 p.m. on Dec. 13.

∫ Book sale at 10 a.m.; MiniMakers preschool learning hour: measuring mystery objects at 10:30 a.m.; Christmas holiday movie, “A Christmas Wish” at 6 p.m.; and Christmas ornament series: glass and miniature B at 6:30 p.m., all on Dec. 14.
