WELLS — The Revival, 1441 Route 30, will present a holiday concert at 3 p.m. Dec. 16, featuring Liaisons Plaisantes (pictured above), an 18th century reenactment band presenting Christmas music originally recorded at the historical Johnson Hall. They are the house band at Johnson Hall, Johnstown, which was the baronial mansion originally built by Sir William Johnson and is now a state historical site.

Liaisons Plaisantes performs music mostly from before the American Revolution. Attired in period clothing they present as pure a presentation as possible as to how it might have been in the parlors of colonial America during the Christmas season. The carols and hymns will take place in the candle lit and decorated hall.

The concert is $10; and free for kids. There will be refreshments.
