Class on laughter yoga planned
GLOVERSVILLE — Maria Pantalone will teach laughter yoga from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Wednesdays, July 26 and Aug. 9 and 23 at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, 2736 Route 30.
Laughter yoga is a practice involving prolonged voluntary laughter. It is based on the belief that voluntary laughter provides the same physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter, according to a news release. Laughter yoga is done in groups, with jokes and playfulness shared between participants. Forced laughter soon turns into real and contagious laughter.
The cost will be $25 per class or one gift card.
