Child’s soap carving class planned

GLOVERSVILLE — Beth Spriggs will teach children ages 5 to 10 to carve soap into snowmen or any other creature from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11, in art studio two at the Paul Nigra Center for the Creative Arts, Route 30.

The artists will then dress their creations up using items such as tiny pompoms, sequins, felt and pipe cleaners, according to a news release.
