Second annual Haudenosaunee Film Festival scheduled for Sept. 8

The second annual Haudenosaunee Film Festival will take place Sept. 8 at the Kanatsiohareke Mohawk community, Route 5. FONDA — The second annual Haudenosaunee Film Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sept. 8, at the Kanatsiohareke Mohawk community, Route 5.

The festival will feature films by: Terry Jones (Seneca), Katsitsionni Fox (Mohawk), Kashsto’sera’a Paulette More (Mohawk), Jason Corwin (Seneca) and Tami Watt, Karonhiarokwas Roxann Whitebean (Mohawk, Wold Clan), Kaweienon:ni (Margaret) Peters (Mohawk), Jaiden Mitchell (Akwesasne Mohawk), Neal Keating, Gemma Lockhart (Lakota), and Tyotsi’tsyatyerenhton (Cadace) Maracle (Mohawk).

Admissions for the full day will be $25 for adults, $15 for seniors and children 6 to 12. Children under 5 will be free. Admission includes dinner.
