Miss Fonda Fair winners
FONDA — Julia Marrone of Johnstown, a sophomore at Fulton-Montgomery Community College, has been chosen this year’s Miss Fonda Fair, the pageant has announced.
Other winners were Jaiden Farrington, a Broadalbin seventh-grader, as Junior Miss Fonda Fair; Chole Lyons, Princess, a Gloversville fifth-grader; and Sydney Arminio, a Johnstown third-grader, Junior Princess.
Given the Helen Buanno interview awards were Marrone, Miss; Farrington, Junior Miss; Lyons, Princess; and Margaret Ann Carmichael, Junior Princess.
The Barbara Gray community service awards went to Kimberly Sargalis, Miss; Alexa Christiano, Junior Miss; Bella Mia Romano, Princess; and Kendyl Conyne, Junior Miss.
Receiving the Jackie Lape congeniality awards were Marrone, Miss; Hailie Downing, Junior Miss; Olivia Wilmot, Princess; and Valerie Gonzales, Junior Princess.
Reaynne Johns was awarded the first contestant award while Heather Flint was given the spirit award.
Named as mothers of the year were Kristen Caputo, mother of Lexis Smith, and Deja Donde, mother of Rhiannon Donde.
In the Miss division, the second-to-fifth-place winners were, respectively, Isabella Henderson, Kimberly Sargalis, Emily Barker and Jazmine Gattman.
In the Junior Miss category, the place holders were Carolyn Rose Cranker, Jenna Downing, Tiffany Sargalis and Lexus Smith.
In the Princess division were Autumn Souza, Romano, Jasmine Rumrill and Gianna Masi.
In the Junior Princess group were Carmichael, Alexis Canallatos, Conyne and Elizabeth Solar.
